hey is there a league for newbes

datsun dude, saw you a bit last night or the night before, can't remember now. Anyways, for North America, there is the NAL (North American League). Not a newbie league, but the races are divided up by your laptimes between several servers. Last season, we ran pretty much 3 servers per race with 10-15 racers on each server. It's alot of fun because you'll race with those who run close to what you run. If you race in the evenings, then eventually, you'll meet pretty much everyone who races in NAL as there aren't many of us over here in the States who play LFS. You've already seen me .

Everyone I've met in NAL is very courteous and helpful to any new guys, though I already knew most of them anyways from public racing in the evenings.

NAL sounds great, I only started with LFS in January so I haven't run with NAL yet. I wonder if they wont wait untill August at this point.

OLFSL (Origional LFS League) seems like a good starter league. A well organised heavily populated league. Veterens and Noobs. And is starting its new season currently. They usually have 4-6 grids all with 16 cars.

yea, the olfsl is a good place to start. you will be placed on a grid based on your hotlap, so you would race against people close to your own speed
