Why on earth would you spend so much money on levers!! I suppose they add 20 HP?

There really is no way to check, is there? The biggest cost were the two tyres and the hours of work. They also fitted new brake pads, spark plugs, air and oil filter, a muffler connector and replaced the brake fluid and engine oil. Most of that stuff I suppose I could do myself (I changed the brake fluids and engine oil not too long ago) but the thing is at the moment I really don't have any place to do that kind of stuff, nor the needed tools to do it properly. If I'm going to do it myself I want to be able to do it properly in a proper workspace with all the necessary tools at my disposal. I do plan to do most things myself in the future, but I'm not gonna fiddle with the valve clearances; too risky IMO.
