Thrustmaster F1 force feed back steering problem
Any techno wizards out there. Last night ( Saturday 22/04/2006 ) I was playing Toca racecar driver 3. After about 2 hours of off road driving the car in game suddenly shot off on full lock to the right into the wall but the steering wheel is on full left hand lock with the auto-centering button on. I finished the game and went into the Thrustmaster control panel, the steering wheel has lost its x axis. I suspect I,ve burnt out or have a faulty sensor switch either on auto-centering or x axis, anybody had this problem. If so can the switches be replaced ? and how can I check if they are faulty.
All fixed. Took apart and found a wire had broken off, resoldered and all's well.
By the way rang Thrustmaster before taken apart and they were no help.
