Hi guys,

found this little tool that might help your little F5 key recover from a weeks abuse hehe.

Basically it will check a website of your choice for updates and can check every minute and will notify you with a popup and a sound when there is an update.

Download it from: http://www.right-soft.com/webmon/

Instructions:

Delete all the pre installed links.
Click, Links>New Links
input http://www.liveforspeed.net
Put a title
Leave the server authentication tab empty and click next
Click next again,
Click Auto check and put in your frequency of checking and click next
Put in your notifications
Click next
click next
click finish

IMPORTANT,
after you have done that,
right-click on the link and click properties
Click on the Analysis tab and click on smart conent analysis
Click ok

You Are done and can now sit back and relax waiting for the patch

just gotan update, the website changed from 1 day left to today

You can also use opera, right-click on the site and put on automatic refreshing.

I'm trying that now, and in the past few minutes, it has found 3 updates for www.liveforspeed.net

Make that 5 changed detected by firefox...this update thing is shit.


Edit: It detects a change every time it refreshes, i think it's the random banner on the homepage..HAHAHA

I have that extenson and it doesnt work properly. Anyway I will have the patch hosted on my website. But due to lack of bandwidth i will only host it for a few hours.

rolf... just received an automated email from Amazon grrr :irked: thinking it was an LFS email i ran like hell with the cup of tea in my hand.. which i ended up spilling partly on my fecking keyboard!!!!!!

With that Webmon I get Socket Error #10061 - Connection refused

*EDIT* N/M I found the entry for proxy settings
