Im probably all wrong.. i read the turt. on how to make skins and browsed through all the forums.. now i went to LFS-data-skins folder and there are no default skins in there .. I thought there was suppose to be some in Jpg form to use and create with.. i only found them in dds format and cant load them in to the paint program

Ah yes, with one of the patches last year the skins started using .dds.

I think the .jpg defaults still come with the CMX Viewer, available from LFS.net
There's also the Master Skinnerz Pro-Kits in .psd format.
