How many forums do you frequent
I just can't keep up anymore. I have WAY too many forums to read. Can't get anything done at work. Can't get anything done at home. It's crazy.

So, how many forums do you guys read. I was curious. Mine looks like this:

very active (read/checked multiple times per day)
LFS forum, of course
NAL for league
CRC for the club
RSC controller section

Then there's semi active
RSC Racer section - like to keep up even though I haven't installed on new PC
RSC GTL section - though this I've pretty much given up on. GTL is garbage.
Master Skinnerz - haven't had much time lately for skinning and haven't visited for a while
WSPilots - for online flying MS Flight sim

Finally, the not very active, but wish I had the time
Simradar - another MS flight sim
Simviations - still more flying
AVSim - Yup, you guessed it, flying
superspeedway.net - NR2003, but haven't been there for a while
The US Pits - same again
Masgrafix - NR again
GuitarNoise.com - can you guess what this one is about?
yahoo Honda Nighthawks group - really should keep up with this one, almost riding season again.

How in the world am I suppose to race when I have all this stuff to read?

Besides this forum I run my own (pretty busy) forum for SCORE. I also visit the major Nascar Heat forums and of course read up on the sections that interest me on RSC and BHMS.
RSC used to eat a silly chunk of my day. If you actually wanted to read every damn topic in under 2 hours you had to check 5 times a day. Now I rarely go at all.

LFS forums are probably three times per day.

MRNL forum is daily.

OpenTTD forum probably once every week or two.

I visit the physics forums very occasionally when my brain wants some pain.

Think that's it for me.
Quote from Bob Smith :RSC used to eat a silly chunk of my day. If you actually wanted to read every damn topic in under 2 hours you had to check 5 times a day. Now I rarely go at all.

Same here, don't visit it at all much anymore (And I am a super mod :o shhhh)

But main reasons for that being that the place is still slow for me, and same issues are always happening. Way too much dramatic elements on those forums, and it was fun a while back, but not much anymore. Besides, all I did was visit the LFS forum 90% of the time there, and now since they moved (praise the devs for that), I am here more than any other forum site I visit daily.

Other forums, well I don't have many other ones. Mercury team forum, Last.fm, and others... Just some small ones that I only glance at for a few minutes and reply to a few topics that interest me. This forum is the most active for me. I used to be all over tons of forums a couple years ago, but those were for other games, and those games have died off, so no need to bother visiting those anymore

Now I only spend half a day checking these forums :P

I'm a super-mod at forum.sunflowers.de (the forum of the publisher of 1503 A.D., 1602 A.D., Knights of Honor and the upcoming Paraworld) and I frequent this forum quite often. The forum I visit the least are the CRC forums, being once or twice a day.

Forums are a quite nice "break-filler". Don't know what to do? Forumscheck!

LFSforum (I visit daily but am not very active)

Last 3 aren't forums, but I visit them just as often so I included them anyway. When I wanna kill even more time I open Ebay, there's no limit to how much unproductive time you can spend there.

These days I'm active on LFS forum, and read it about once or twice a day. I skim through others with RSS (Firefox live bookmarks), mainly osnews and mozillazine. Been quite active on mozillazine since early mozilla days and also because of my firefox/mozilla/thunderbird extension.

Before that I've been (and technically still am) a moderator on doom9 forums, which is a digital audio/video/compression/etc forum. Not that active there these days, and my visits are mostely limited to moderating following users emails.

Forums can suck your time though, best to focus on your topics of interest and visit them not more than once or twice a day imho.
