also if you could choose how fast the AIs go at certain places so it would be possible to make them pit every lap

i have visual c# on here, how did everyone here learn?

does anyone know any websites with flash animations that teaches you how to code or maybe a website that has some videos.

i cant actually find anything that actually tells you how to program any insims, maybe mix up the programmers section and the noob section to get noob programmer section, then can teach people how to code

this would be possible if the lfs devs allowed .gifs to be uploaded to lfsworld.net, if you make the flashing lights on the skin, they would flash all the time, but this wouldnt matter as you would be able to have lfsstrobe on aswell.

what i was thinking was like a console with buttons like add button and like action so that when a certain packet comes out(i think that is the right terminology)it does something when you go to certain coordinates it does something else and says something when you connect and leave pits both personal and visible to everyone

if some confident coder could make a program that you type in what you want an insim to do and it tells you what kind of scode would make it do such a thing, making you a nice insim, and teaching you how to make insims so that eventually you will learn how to make them, as im sure most of you dont know, i am a total noob to programming and i though there must be an easy way of learning. learning from a book may not relate in any way to lfs and programming insims so being able to learn using something that is related to lfs will make learning how to code them easier. hope someone can help me

i suggested this ages ago but someone said only the programmers could do it
this would be good if you wanted AIs to demonstrate your autocross layout, maybe like when you press shift+a you can change the sounds, maybe shift+s to load up a different AI path

as you are demo, will it work with s2? if your making apps i recommend you getting s2, hang on, there arent any drag strips on demo so how do you use your app?

i dont think think this has anything to do with lapper, it is probably a result of lack of port forwarding

why not allow every IP address like, one hour of lx4 a month or something to see if they are any good

i think, you could be really cruel to demo users and let them try out the other tracks for an hour/day then not allow them to use them anymore, that will probably get more people getting s2, when they go back to blackwood they will get really bored

also, make it so demo users have usernames too, so that you can find friends who are still saving up for s2, this will also help with banning, but if you make it take much longer to create a new account, demo people wont keep making new accounts. blah blah blah blah blah.

BL doesn't really suck, its just some of us just got sick of only being able to get it on demo i always had to go on demo when my bro was on s2 because that was the only license we had, the xrt still rules at drifting!!!, BL wasn't particularly good for drifting as it had the giant straight, but the bit after the straight was good when in reverse.

it will say you dont have pb files cause you havent used lapper yet, it is initialised probably try the !help command in lfs.

a good idea would be to try and get lfs to run on a psp, that would be good

i would also like to get into programming insims, what is the most common language used in such servers as the popular cruise servers and lx month servers. c# and c++ are popular at my dad's work, dont know why they'd need it there, if i told you anymore id have to kill you :nol2:

as long as there wasnt any pbs from the cars that arent allowed it shouldnt show them

is there any way you can put some code in the cfg to hide the '!' commands?
