I complained to my ISP for so long they checked my line all was good, I replaced all cabling in the house still had problem, finally replaced the old Modem they had given me and now all is going good. I've had two days of dissconnect free racing!!! I'll let you know if it continues.

SOLVED: My modem/Router was the problem replaced it and all is well!!!!!! Hope you all get yours fixed too.

KY National: Most corners flat out in most cars, then made even less interesting by the long boring oval bit.
KY GP: I don't think I've ever done a race there so it might as well not exist.

Westhill: Quite interesting.

There. Hopefully that will help explain how people can be bored of certain circuits. I wish I was more easily entertained, I really do.

I don't have a problem with not having that many improvements. I really don't pay that much attention to the trees and tracks and the graphics. I have to turn them all down anyway because of my computer.
My fun comes from the racing! Battling it out with the other racers is what keeps me coming back day after day. The personalities of the people are what makes it interesting more than anything else. I don't even have time to worry about if things could be improved. Before this game I was one of the gamers that had a few games on the go at all times. Since I've started playing LFS I haven't played anything else.

I have been trying to find the same thing. My problem is when I'm racing I don't want to have to look down to press control+F1 or any other combination. It takes to much time. Can we assign a one key press for messages instead of two keys?

edit: I know how to change what the keys say. What I want to find out is if you can press one key: say the "Q" key and get the "Sorry" message to appear?
If anyone knows the answer please let me know.

I don't want them to finish developing!! When and if they do all the people that want the latest and greatest will disappear very quickly, just like every other game out there:-( Then you will see the fan base disappear I think. There will always be a core community but all the hangers on that need new all the time will go! The way it is now keeps everyone coming back and waiting and disscussing and disscussing and disscussing!!!!!

Can any one use any of the skins posted here or do you need to ask permision first? I'm new to the skinning end of things and haven't been able to find anything on this yet.

This happens to me all the time. I have talked to lots of different people who this is happening too and no one so far has had a solution. Hope you find on and share.

This is what happens to me as well and I haven't been able to find a solution either sorry. (Other than bang my chest and threaten my computer with bodily harm!) My CTRA stats for completed races are shit because I lose my connection all the time.
Let me know if anything helps you and i'll do the same.

I also deleted the system and the chat message sound and chat has been quiet for me for years, so that's another variable that shouldn't be a cause of the problem.

Could you let me know how to do tis please? I find that noise so annoying and would love to get rid of it.

Just a question but can I get a ringer to log in as me and run up my points while I sleep? This seems like an easy way to get a platinum licence in no time, and then not have the experience to race on a platinum server?! This is not what IceMan31x has done I'm sure but others could. Just a thought by the way. As you can tell from my slow progress this is not happening with my user name!

I like the new tracks but I like racing against some of the more experienced racers who don't crash everyone better:-) Had fun with Sam and Jakg and everyone could actually finish a race.
