Guess that makes sense. It would sure be a great update though.. I have a feeling it would bring in a lot of players.

A neat implementation idea would be to have it like skins. With S1 and up you could upload your custom VOB (with a limited max/min hitbox size) and the server would download them automatically.. Imagine a server full of custom car models that are actually cool.

If the so called "VOB mod" keeps within the original hitbox of the car (like a better model of a car that resembles one from LFS) why would these be a problem?

For example, a Civic Hatchback VOB would easily fit within the XFG hitbox...

ALSO: Not trying to encourage or entertain use of these, as I don't use any myself, just curious as to what is so bad about them... It's like the darknet of LFS.

Anyone wanna write a quick auto-message script using the LFSLapper 7.0.4.8 file editing/reading system?

Pretty simple, just read from a file, each line is a message. Messages in the files would have the color codes (eg: ^1).

Finally have some time to test this out.

I'm going to set it up on my race server and in 30 minutes we'll see if the event I set works correctly, and then resets after 1 hour.

All of that info aside, why in the world are the devs not putting more game profit into advertising... They obviously aren't putting it into development.

Still a learning process for me. Lots was happening at once, with lots of people. I've added a 5 min qualification to all the future events starting 30 minutes before the race start.

Yea the issue is that most of the people who were racing are in the UK. It originally was 7PM EST but that was too late for the UK folks.
