Well it should cost him those points then. In real racing position comes before times. So those quick lap is worth nothing standing in the sand. Think CTRA should reflect that. I think its weird that if i finish before him i get no points because i am slow and he "screwes up" and still gets the reward. So i find he gets too much and i too little.

I would like to have the LFScompanion functions back though. That app acted as a fullblown pitradio getting me info on distances and if i was getting quicker in a voice system, like a pitcrew would. I give me more of a race vibe.

Its telling you to download addon LFS relax, which now supports the feature you are talking about.

Thought myself the second boxes were cumulative times of that lap.

Love the addon. It does not seem to use the ingame info in singleplayer? It shows behind 00:00:00 but nothing else?

You use the ingame system now. Via the help menu there is a report system. BTW you can use your mouse in the system now and navigate throught it. Just bind one command and use mouse from there.

In the old system those could not get those points if i remember correct. Once you had a license you could race on "lower" servers, but more for fun then points.

Well since i just got silver both TBO and FOX both are new to me and now i kind of lean towards FOX.

Multiclass in principle nothing against it, but I dont like too much difference in speed.

This should not be the case as i think about it. OK you should be rewarded for fast laps but only secondary to position. Fastest laptimes are always afaik in racing secondary to finishing in high position. I think its fair to deviate some from IRL as to incorporate time in equation in dividing the points.

Everybody keeps talking about ppl being 10-15 seconds off. If i am into the track with the car i am usually about 2-3 seconds slower. Dont think that me getting points will stop motivating me to go even quicker.

I have been a betatester with a lot of other guys. You think we got any points there ?. No way !! with Moose, Jakg, Dru and several other really fast drivers. But this never took away the fun of racing.

Secondly I think this thread isnt showing any respect for Becky, Sam and a lot of others who spent about a month sitting behind there screen writing this software. I can tell you there have been several late hours involed until early mornings, too get where we are now.
So please show some respect at least. Even if you are not happy with the point system.

Drive clean and 1 day you will get your points. Dont forget the sytem isnt even live a whole week. This means a lot of higher licensed racers will drive lower servers. Just stay in track show your consistency and you will get your points.

WOW who makes this about Becky and Sam all of a sudden. I have nothing then respect for what they try and created. They are however just people. And the way the points are awarded is just 1 aspect of the system. And the distribution of it feels biased now, beneficial of hotlappers who's goal it is to make 1 quick lap and not towards racing. Can be that it will settle over time and practice (my own) but its a point of concern for me. However it wont stop me from enjoying the server.

Dont think its fair that our/mine mere observations on the system is immediately interpreted as critisism on the people behind it.

Thats also my main point. Not that i wont race CTRA, i like the standard of racing that i always try to strive for myself. It's just now i am afraid i will have to wait months for my 1st points.

Which like i said benefits only hotlappers. If it were the totaltime it was something else i guess. But laptime? Not that i would get the points then... I know i am not the best racer. But if i succeed to get in top 10 i must be doing something better then the 10-20 other racers on there. Its about the total race not about performance of 1 lap i hope.

Well there might be a way... but thats up to them, more servers added or 3rd party servers connected to the system. Or changing the cars in the servers.

Well for me its just practice more i guess...1 point for effort is not in the cards i guess.
