Which would be very weird for a race system to do. So you may have done 1 extraordinary lap. Crashed a few times (probably my guess because of all the unnessecary risks you took), get lapped and finish behind and then as a reward get all of the points to take home.

Downloaded the demo today to see what the fuss is about. Felt fake and unresponsive to me. Even in replay mode i found the cars moveing shaky and unnatural in contrast to the GTR's in LFS.

And the graphics should be better? I felt it to be clean and sharp but very unrealistic.

There were the features i did like the pit radio (like LFS companion once did for me), weather, pitcrew, driver animation.

But overall LFS it is!

Race 2 seems to run but system is crooked somewhat. It could not chnge the track the couter kept resetting (until we manually changed track). It gives every message twice. So maybe Becky (or anybody else) can restart system.

Or... we just convinced him. He is just to ashamed to admit.

I have seen it calling out stuff with no cars around also, even on singleplayer. No idea what would cause it. I am using standard config settings.

Think the idea is to stop LFSrelax from using outgage (there is a setting at top of config for that). You wont get the fuel calc then.

There is another option to somewhat sponsor the project with some variable income. They introduced the hi-res skin download.

Think COD2 uses a system that lets you as a client download maps from the server. Maybe in LFS it could be done via LFSW. This could be a way of distributing additional tracks or even cars. However i am for the quality control and think even the current tracks and cars are only used by CTRA and leagues now so...use what we have first.

Well this way you could build in a certificate that LFS checks.
You could go the netkar way with the tracks... also some semi official mods.
