Hey again, Everyone is getting spectated for false starts leaving pits, I apparently have it "false" but it still persists to spec people.
# Always spectate for false start - boolean
# Send to pitlane for false start - boolean
# Could be good for short races or for having race without penalties.
SpecFalseStart=false
PitFalseStart=false
It is the default setting so I assume it's correct.
# These lines will appear as buttons to everyone connecting to the
# server, allowing for communicating some must-read info - string(s)
# Use "ButtnMotd=+text" to define text for individual buttons.
ButtnMotd=
Is it possible to display all the Registered Users from here:
# Enter usernames of drivers registered for some event, separated
# by comma (,) or as separate items - string
# Output of !rsb and !rtb commands will be limited to these people,
# also !rexp data will include only these.
RName=
(So when they press "OK" and the window pops up, it displays names from the Rname=...)
I want to add a button but when I do, it either doubles it up on one line, or repeats whats after the + symbol..
Can ya fill this in so I know? Cheers !
# Large button(s) to be shown to everyone after connecting - string
# Create more buttons (max 5) by using starting/concatenating '+'.
# If also ButtnMotd (see next item) is defined, it will be shown after
# clicking OKd below these large buttons.
ConnectBtn=+HERE I WANT A BUTTON
AND HERE
Instead it come up in LFS as " HERE I HERE I + or HERE HERE+
instead of whats it's meant to be.
Any one who writes such comments as yours, obviously couldn't do it.
Or you would't have replied with,
"Multiple layer coatings are not supported by LFS, so this is quite a ridiculous topic."
"so you upload a JPG and suddenly it has multiple layers.. Come on."
Over-rating my-self? You clearly no nothing about what your talking about and someone needed to explain.
It is supported, the part your talking about is uploading it so everyone can see,( Look at me Look at me ).
I'm flattered that it took 6 years for a chameleon skin to be put up. , I have only been Editing for under a year, and only seen this thread post about a week ago.
In future, Don't "hate comment" on posts/threads that you clearly don't know anything about.Or learn to criticize constructively.
"it's not supported so worthless to spend any time on it"- Words of a future failure.
If your going to refer to a T.V built in the early 50's, as a maturity level indicator, your maturity level is more like a Sony Bravia.
Or, you have spent 50+ years learning nothing, and try to tell someone who clearly learnt a bit about the subject in their 20 odd years of living that it's wrong?
I simply tried to do what the creator of this thread wanted.
Heheh I expected that, as the idea originated from the animated objects, I thought the mipmaps only went by distance, but somehow the skin goes by angle as well. Cool concept though. Cheers!
What do you mean? Ridiculous? This thread made gave me inspiration to try.
These skins change color depending on what angle you look at it.
I'm not sure what you mean by "multiple layer coatings" but if you look into "mipmap" a bit, you might find LFS, and most other games out there, have "multiple layer coatings". 13 Layers to be exact.
Hi, is there a way to quicken up the transition speed to the next mipmap?
In videos I have seen the transition to be nearly instant, only needing to walk away or towards the object a little bit ( a few steps and its done its fading transition)
Just in case you cant reach the video,I have uploaded a DDS file for you to try it.
When your placing an object in LFS Autocross, Select "Markers" or "Cones". ( I haven't done any others yet, these were a test ).
Marker 100 - marker 25 needs to be aligned to spell THE HOME OF ANGLE. (Does't NEED to but it's what it is)
Marker S2 R is a stop sign.
Marker R L is a caution light.
The green Cone and post are also animated.
After placing them down, drive around and see what happens.
-You need to move towards or away from the objects. No movement = No Animation.
