there's 3 cars, then you can to unlock i think 4 more by completing driving lessons on career mode and getting achievements on the lessons
You can also do some offroading once you unlock the mountainous area, its pretty fun, especially in the rain :P

And you can add your own vehicles as i said

i love mine, im using one of my old pedals as a clutch and its great!

This is how i've assigned my buttons. If i rotate my dial anti-clockwise, i get the tyre information up, if i rotate it clockwise, i get the wheel damage.. etcetc, i have indicators assigned to the 'R2' and 'L2' buttons and many others.
