It's rather laggy on max settings (unplayable if you don't have a high end GPU)
All you have to do to get it to a really good performance level is disable SSAO and depth of field which will just leave you with the colour correction passes.
That version may be a little old, as I update my ENB pretty much every time I load up LFS.
It's not default LFS, it's a mod, I'll give you that. But as I said above, it's like a coat of paint for LFS. This is a thread for un-edited screenshots, and mine aren't edited, so they belong here.
I entirely share this opinion of what raw is classified as. This is both a thread for creative use of standard game assets, and to showcase modifications to the game to improve it's aesthetics, without relying on the easy technique of Photoshop.
Seeing that I can understand your decision. You really didn't do bad it just looks inconsistent. Perhaps rough it up a bit, add those tiremarks. Show signs of a bit of wear if you think the idea of a stronger asphalt texture would be unrealistic.
But remember, it's probably better to have it looking like what a player would expect than to make it realistic.
With a simple flat dds texture it's really not easy to get the desired look anyway.
None of these effects are possible with ENB. Not in LFS. In GTA IV, the end has been designed specifically for the game engine, so it's perfectly compatible. These things do not work in LFS. The things that do are depth of field and ambient occlusion. Motion blur works, sometimes.
