I'm not a professional modeller, but Sniiki is right. Glass has an IOR of 1.5/1.6 no matter how thick it is. IOR depends on the actual material, not the dimenions of the object.
If the glass is thin then the light wont bend much because the light exits almost as soon as it enters the glass.
If you buy S2 then yes, you do get all the S1 content too. However, I would advise that you do buy S2 and not just S1 as there are hardly and S1 servers as everyone plays S2!
Sorry to perpetuate the hijack but I have bought a set of ECCI's and can answer a couple of these:
1) Yes, I did. But be warned: The delivery guy will ask you for an extra £40-odd for import tax.
2) Well, I have PBMII so I can't comment whether it's better without, but the brake pedal does gradually get harder to push. Without it, it would be like the accelerator and have the same resistance for the whole travel.
3) If you mean, "do the replacement Momo pedals have better pots", then yes they do.
4) I believe you can buy an extra clutch pedal for them, but it connects via a separate USB lead which means windows and games will see it as an entirely separate controller.
When you go to shift+u a snapshot of the dash and mirrors are taken and pasted on. Then if you drive around in the shift+u view the dash and mirrors stay the same. So you probably went into the view with the tyres behind you then drove around or deleted the tyres but they stayed in mirror.
You said "by the time the view has moved round". Sounds like you haven't enabled instant look or whatever it's called. Look for it in options and enable it. That might help a bit.
The 30,000 calorie sandwich (the page linked to in the first post) was in the US, but what you've quoted is from another page about a meagre 8,500 calorie sandwich (link at top of 30,000 calorie page)
See, us Britons can't beat the Americans at eating.
I think there should be the option to remove the option to vote-ban but keep the vote-kick. The server option could be /vote 0, /vote 1, /vote 2 (0=no vote, 1=vote to kick, 2=vote to kick+ban).
With /vote 1 in place, ppl can vote to kick wreckers but people can't be unjustly banned. Although the downside to this is if there is a genuine wrecker, people can't prevent him from re-joining the server if he's kicked.
