Yeah, it was made for that, but it isn't really wanting people to press it. It is a small grey button at the top right, not very inviting. I think a thread would work much better because more people would read/look at it.
Scawen, this only ever works if you are in a group of about 5 or more on Teamspeak and that still might be a struggle to get more on. I have tried this magical waiting on a empty server thing and it simply doesn't work. Maybe we could have a thread where people could organise to pop on a server at a certain time and have some fun there.
I am fine with removing the options we already have but only if very little use them, as Scawen have discovered here, people use the rotating track map. I can understand why Scawen didn't know as he has probably never been to a cruise server.
The size of the Suggested Improvements list wouldn't be that long if he had implemented them (if he thought they were good ideas).
For the cars that we have to drift now 45° is way to much, it would turn drifting into something that i find fun to do every once and a while due to the difficulty into something that i would never to due to how easy it would get. If you want to give us cars that can have 45° steering lock, give us cars with 600bhp... then if would be a bit more than just full throttle drifting.
When you say some, do you mean a few? i have seen some new players, but, a lot of them have admitted to using Pereulok. When you go to the top of this page, does it say "The online racing simulator" or "The online drifting simulator"? What i personally believe is that he should finish the tyre physics get the Scirocco out, etc. before he gets sidetrack by anything... If he goes and changes something in the game that creates a load of issues then he will have to work all them out too, delaying the tyre physics and the Scirocco.
To not make this post totally pointless, i have found a wee issue in the barriers at Fern Bay, I am getting one shadow on the barrier and one shadow on the ground behind the barrier:
.vob mods like Ben was using in that video is better than using a totally different model in my opinion, they don't affect collision meshes but, they aren't allowed on the forums. Most .vob mods that i have ever seen change the car completely, changing the collision meshes. As willi said there, when you crash into someone using the correct .vob's and you have the modded ones it will make you both go flying, regardless of ping.
