Erm... sorry about my layout messing stuff up - wasn't designed to have more than 20+ cars on.
I'll release a new Blackwood GP layout tomorrow which will be especially designed for the server!
Here's the long-awaited reversals of my South City layouts. emoH kcaB is slightly lighter than ekameR emoH kcaB, at 159 objects compared to 165 for the Remake. The original has two changes (not counting the pit lane cut-off), while the remake only has one (again, not counting the pit lane cut-off). The original has a unique change which can't be found on the remake.
So, to the pictures of the adjusted / new bits!

[London Road Super-Narrows: One Lane & Two Lanes if you can't read it / are annoyed by it]: I reversed the order of the Super-Narrows so you have the Two Lanes where the One Lane was, and vice versa. This was because if it was left as it was, you would probably hit the barrier and flip out of the race. It's unique to the original version.
As far as I remember, the first two DD games only awarded you points for spinning out other cars through various rotations (90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees) and killing the cars. This means that we wouldn't need to have to hit people as hard as we could to get more points.
Also, if this is meant to be a relaxing way of playing LFS (as TVE pointed out above) then would it matter if people get lagged out? If you take it too seriously then you lose all the fun in it.
But as TVE has said too, people have different tastes. So if we want to do a full-on DD league but you don't, then you don't have to join in. You could even start up your own Rallycross Bump and Jump DD skin league!
EDIT: Back Home & Back Home Remake have had their reversals done and should be up in a few hours time. In the meantime, I might be thinking about doing my own DD layout for Fern Bay Rallycross Green, inspired by bits from TVE's layout from last night.
Even with just 6 people, tonight's DD session has been awesome!
Imagine if we had a league going...
Here is an equation to show you what I'm getting at:

Thinking about DD league ()
+ working on it (:smash3d:, :irked:, :munching_, etc.)

Thanks Brandon! :thumb3d:
I would like to be able to host the layouts on a server, but unfortunately I haven't got the time, money or expertise to do so.
Slightly off-topic from this thread: which track layout should I do a new DD track on after I do the reversals of Back Home & Back Home (Remake)? Kinda stuck for ideas at the moment...
Yeah - one of the best ones in my opinion was for Bouncer's car, where the 88 was being held by the cartoon version of him! Heavy Metal Hero's is also a good one, and so is Skum's with the skull.
Roll on more DD1 skins Joni!
Thrillz & Spillz comes to Blackwood GP Reverse, with nearly the same as the usual, but with an added 17.1% of objects, taking it to 247! I couldn't call it Thrillz & Spillz (because the normal one is called that) so I flipped it round to read zllipS & zllirhT instead!
As the track's been converted to reverse, most of the things (like ramps) have been reversed, and the split has been made different so that people can't blast down the track. Naturally, the pit entrance has been blocked like before, and the pit exit is unblocked.
SUPER Airtime: With a much longer run-up, you shouldn't just be getting airtime, but entering into airspace!
New Two Ways: Now this is the main change. To stop people favouring the left side, it's been narrowed so you have no choice but to go off-road on either side! Should cause some mental pile-ups!
Turn Last & No Way Through: Nothing much changed apart from the extension of the barriers nearest to the pits so there's no way through!
Download it from the attachment, regular modification rules apply, yadda yadda yadda.
EDIT: Fixed two problems regarding the New Two Ways.
Yeah, I've got DD1 but I never noticed that before. Wonder why they were on the DD cars but not on the DD2 cars.
Anyway, good idea to take them off because if we could make the bonnet and boot pop up like that in LFS then you could include them. But we can't so there's really no need to have them on.
First part: Look at my signature for my DD layouts
Second part: I've already changed the AI names for the DD2 pack, and gone as far as making the drivers the right sex (luckily I still have the DD2 booklet)! :ices_rofl
I decided not to put anything on the motorway because if we're having an online race and people are getting spun out left right and centre then there would be no point of having chicanes and the like because it would cause people to get flipped out of the race. But I like your idea and may implement it into a second version of the layout.
Just captured this beauty when I ran a 20 AI race on South City Chicane Route - certainly an [worms voice] amazing shot! [/worms voice]
Sorry for filesize and type - just did it quickly.
Sorry for double posting, but I've just done the Town Course remake. It's marginally heavier than the original, with 147 objects rather than 138. I can't remember what I was listening to this time! :ices_rofl
The only two changes to the first course are:
The loss of the London Road Super-Narrows!
but:
The gain of the High Street Super-Narrows!
Their descriptions (and pictures [basically the same as the London ones] ):
High Street Two Lanes: One half of the High Street Super-Narrows, with it only being two lanes wide! It's a bit shorter than the London Two Lanes, but it could still cause some mayhem!
High Street One Lane and No Pit Entry:  The other half of the Super-Narrows, this time being wide enough for just one car and being amazingly long; probably twice as long than the London One Lane! Right in the background is the obligatory blocked pit entry, which all my DD layouts will have.
Download it from the attachment, and expect the reverse versions of these two sometime in the future!
