First sketch wip of the other one. Will finish during the week i think.

Edit: added 2nd wip preview. Got some done... partly improvising at the lower edges of the bodykit, which produced some ugly effect making it look chaotic. However, just need to do the connection between the rear... and adding logos.

Edit2: just in case you keep checking because you can't wait it is probably done at least friday.

Just get the cmx viewer from the main site direct DL and unpack that in a seperate folder. All default skins are in there.

Or got to master skinnerz and download the kits that include a helpful wireframe

You have a really nice helmet, but what about mullog. Have you contacted him?

He probably still have the negative files and it would be easier for him to make adjustments. I would need to literally mess around with it and i'd rather not.

You mean promoting an unfinished "game" that is known in the "scene" for quite a long time.
How many people actually care about a simulation? Answer: Not Many - simple as that. The people who care know LFS by the time. (maybe even more than iracing)

And why should they babysit a community, when there is nothing to gain for them !?

There is a point and that is that now, you/we/anyone_wo_is_just_waiting, know that the developement hasn't stopped and that there will be new stuff.

don't get your hopes too high as it is impossible to make chrome in LFS and the background/basepaint is pretty difficult to get as detailed as this, although not impossible for some pro surely.

hehe, yeah been busy and away for the xmas, but i'll definitely will finish it. I actually done a bit already 2 weeks ago, but it needs finishing, i've changed the orange to a almost red but it's too much i guess and will turn it back. I also changed the lines on the side a bit to get the overall proportion right, but meh... it always depends heavily on how you look at it and what appeals to someone ina design.

Butser i hope you'll like it, but if not feel free to critisise when it's done, i don't mind and prefer an honest opinion anyway.

Ps. I just recall Butser, you actually wanted the other version right? i might try that as it is a bit more difficult for me.

LFS isn't doomed, but in a difficult state regarding a major change.

That however, does not give any explaination why there was not content or at least the missing cockpits. (is it true that there is a 3rd Dev?)

Hold on, I'm not implying that this is the whole motive for scavier; quite the opposite (when reading Scawen's posts... who knows about Eric xD). They keep online-play running day and night and answer all e-mails, but in the end that is presumely the only or main income for them to finance their actual life, and it does make no difference if people play temporary other games.

The service is present all the time.

Well, what if the next patch sucks? Those "serious" racers will leave anyway without bying an S3, which is the only benefit Scavier will get further out of LFS. There is nothing to loose.
