Also, if u hadnt opened it and still had the reciept, U could have possibly got an exchange under consumer protection laws n etc etc. A warranty is like a goodwill gesture but the thing is still expected to last a certain length of time and a console or electronic stuff is supposed to last at least 5 years.
U need 2 different sizes of torx bits to get the motherboard out. I got 1 o those small screwdrivers with 6 different bits in the handle for £4 in Halfords, It had all the right sizes.
Also i wouldnt worry too much about the x-clamps until it rrod. If u hammer the case flat a bit it makes the heatsinks much tighter anyways, The x-clamps are there just to keep the heatsinks in place when the things getting built.
What u need to do is hammer the holes the heatsink screws go thru flat or push then more outwards.
The case is designed wrong and the heatsink isnt held on with any pressure so if u hammer the holes flat it will increase the pressure. Along with some decent thermal paste, not the chewing gum type crap M$ uses should fix it up great. Will keep the rrod away longer too...
Theres no way M$ will be able to detect the fix so i wouldnt worry about it. Ive fixed loads of different problems with 360's and none have been banned from LIVE.
Nokia N96 for play when i can be bothered to get a new charger.
Im due an upgrade soon so might get a win7 phone or touchscreen Nokia Idk.
Win7P seems cool but it looks like its turning into the next iphone where the most common basic phone functionality will maybe eventually get patched into it years after release, If ever.
Yay flash support. Just like proper smart phones of the last 4 years. Suppose it makes having wifi worth it since it can actually use the real internet instead of just the text bits. Since more price and tech = more freedom and choice?
Its said that it 1/2's loading times tho it still access the disc plenty. Its worth it imo as the loading times are still long after the install so would take ages without.
Na it just takes a while. I got to lvl 15 on day 1 but took another 2 days to get to 20, Tho i wasnt hardcoring it the progress slows right down at around lvl 17.. After lvl 15 u need to do loads of racing and special events to get the points up.
Also the points do reset at every level, So far i need just under 69581 to get to lvl 21 and im running out of races to get xp from...
Im sure there is another way as theres a few servers around that lets u tweak ur settings alone, allowing different tweak setups on the same cars in the server...
Is there any way to get the AI driver out to practice without doing B races? I just want to mess with him alone to see if he can drift or etc etc with dodgy setups, He seems to be brave throwing around Impreza anyways.
Also, was it not said that u could take the AI online? I cannot see anywhere that will let u load it in the lobbys.
Maybe a few things will be added in tomorrows patch...
Yea its the same as on the PSP GT. I just wish it was a little quicker to level up, Been at lvl 17 for about the last 8 expert races.. Want to get to the big races to get some real money built up...
Yea saves are locked to the PSP they are made on, If u have a hacked PSP then u can use a cheat device to add credits to your save. U can also mod cars to give them loads of extra bhp and grip...
