Same here. I can be fine in a server, see everything that is happening, and my lag bar will go up and I will DC... A solution would be much appreciated.

A helmet is the hardest thing to skin in LFS. You aren't going to get many takers, if any, on a helmet that complex.

I don't see it implemented for pickup races, but for longer races it would be nice to have.

IF, and only IF the physics could be done right, it would be good. I still, however, only see it happening as a 3rd party addon. The devs wouldn't entertain the idea, if you ask me.
