I'd say he's probably talking about the team for constructors, and webbers position for drivers although he has a slight chance himself

Quote from ChiliFan :You've missed my point. I was referring to the fact that he described a video of an accident which killed a rider as "disquisting [sic] video material", as if it was some sensationalist snuff film. You tell me how that is respectful.

He actually said WARNING DISGUSTING VIDEO MATERIAL, it seems your the one who wants to sensationalise the title. He provided a warning, and stated material was disgusting. I see nothing wrong with that, nor does it seem like he is promoting the content as snuff sensationalism.

Quote from sil3ntwar :From http://twitter.com/T4RG4 in response to this question

To further this, he just replied saying that AI times ARE NOT fake in racing. . . what a load of shit

Post taken from codies f1 forum:

Are you sure that times are not faked in race???????

Look at this video:
YouTube - F1 2010 Gameplay - Fake Timings, False AI
(MIN. 1:53)
LAP 1
AI times faster 6 sg than player, it's impossible in the LAP 1, because I couldn't be in the first place....
Player LAP: 1.41.485 (1st place) (Grid position 5)
BUTTON Lap: 1.35.375 (3er place) (Grid position 3)
It's IMPOSSIBLE => AI times = FAKE

Quote from AstroBoy :Your all being far to hard on it.
They never said it was going to be "Perfect" its a good first effort and probably a great line of things to come.
But clearly you all expect things to be perfect first time every time clearly the whole learning process is redundant on the lot of you who think the game should of been perfect straight off the bat.

What a load of crap. Codemasters have made countless racing games, one of the main fundamentals of a racing game is lap times. If these are being faked then it is appaling. To also make pit stops so terrible that you can go from first to last while the whole field pass you in the pits is also totally appaling. More so considering pit stops play such a crucial part in an F1 race.

No one has said it should be perfect, infact you'll see the people who have posted in the last few posts, were infact full of praise a few pages back for the games great experience on the whole. Anthony Davidson must of got paid plenty, lil ginger bastard.

My tyres get raped and im not really pushing them to the limit I get into a rythmn for 2 or 3 laps, get up to about 11th in my lotus then as usual get raped on the pit stops! I pit in, then they all pit and i have to wait for all cars to pass and i come back out in 22nd, it's bs

Apart from that i freaking love it!

Penalties need adjusting, getting penalised when they try stupid passes and hit me, rageworthy

Quote from dawesdust_12 :However in a way.. a lower emission car does cause less damage to roads.

Larger LPG converted cars, hybrids, older registered and classical vehicles that come under the same tax classes could majorly outsize their current "eco" tax band equivalents - size isn't always the deciding factor. Ford focus estate 1.6 tdci is around £85 per annum but a 2.0 ford fiesta is probably £200+, countless other examples aswell

Wow you just waffle a load of crap most of the time. The licenses you've quoted aren't really comparable tbh

The BBC is funded by tv licensing, you have to pay this license by law and that in turn pays for the bbc's content throughout all of the media they produce. Every other channel on terrestrial television is funded by advertising and not by this mystical tv license.

The only thing i watch on bbc is top gear and that's about it, so for me personally its a rip off considering none of that money goes to other sources that are of interest to me.

Why should we have to pay a tv license that doesn't really license the tv, it just funds the bbc's executives rediculous flat rate pay packets, a few just as examples:

Mark Thompson Director-General BBC £838,000*
Jana Bennett Director, Vision BBC £517,000*
Mark Byford Deputy Director-General BBC £488,000*
Tim Davie Director, Audio & Music BBC £452,000*
Zarin Patel Chief Financial Officer BBC £434,000*
Caroline Thomson Chief Operating Officer BBC £419,000*
Erik Huggers Dir. Future Media & Tech. BBC £407,000*
Sharon Baylay Director, MC&A BBC £345,000*
Lucy Adams Director, BBC People BBC £328,000*
Helen Boaden Director, BBC News BBC £327,800

The BBC has to cover ALOT of media content to keep each segment of it's viewers happy aswell, we should atleast be able to pay for what we want to watch.

The BBC can die in a fire for all i care.

It's like the UK's road fund license (car tax) this is meant to pay for the upkeep of roads etc. Yet lower polluting car's are cheaper to tax - how's that work?? Do lower emissions vehicles do any less damage to the roads they travel on? I think not, but that's a whole new thread

Can anyone sign into Live yet? I can't (with or without the Steam workaround VPN connection), so each time I start the game I have to set everything up again. Grrrr.

In the microsoft live setting thingy, make an offline account, that's what i've done in the meantime. Can atleast save settings and game etc now

As a whole package, that is (ideally for codemasters) aimed at people who don't really stray outside of gran turismo/pgr/forza - i think it's a well rounded game. It does have quite a good level of interaction, like when your waiting in pit during qualy and practice and you can look at all the info's around you - it's quite immersive. People can bitch about physics all day long, but at the end of the day the majority of people who will play this want throttle, brake, steering and reset/flashback

I've never been the fastest or most consistent in racing games, and neither am i in f1 2010, but it is enjoyable playing it! Looks sexy aswell and runs faultlessy maxed out.

Probably to tie in with time differences between us/europe/uk

That way people will be awake and at work over that side of the pond, then they can help out with technical issues and things i imagine on steam.

Time doesn't bother me personally, my daughter won't be in bed til half 7 so i'm not fussy Can't wait tho

Quote from Stiggie :Because you don't want to use it if you're looking for realism. Using that line makes it way too easy, in my opinion, as that'll be where all your focus is on. Don't know if that dude has it off for the same reason, but he could definately use it.
I myself find it part of the fun actually trying to figure out how to take a bend best.

Wet weather does look really promising, dirt on the tires, and the car really seems to be behaving like it should in the rain, when driven badly.

Doh - i completely forgot about the racing line overlayed on tracks for learning, thought dynamic racing line was something totally different for some random reason lol.
