Quote from scipy :UTC Time of Incident: 20:18
Lap and Location of Incident: Lap 29 Turn 4
Your Car Number: 60
Other Car(s) Involved: 11, 60
Brief Description of Incident: 11 is a moron. DQ him.

We deem car 11 at fault for this collision, however we will not be applying a race time penalty. Instead we would like to make this team aware that if this driver is this far off the pace again we will be pulling the driver in and forcing them out of the car. This is not an acceptable pace in GT2WS and we will be monitoring this team closely in the coming races.

There's a difference though. Last World Cup the Italian manager brought an old team based on his belief that they had one last good tournament in them. They didn't. England have refused to move with the times in terms of developing players and in terms of tactical innovations, believing that long direct passing can still win you tournaments. It can't. That's why England need to think about the future. Look at Germany, after WC 98 and Euro 200, they started a complete change. They reached the WC final in 02, but they kept on the path, and you have seen the rewards since 2006. They will probably be disappointed not to have won Euro 2012, but the fact they were there at all is down to the changes made after Euro 2000.

Quote from Mustafur :I was Bored and being mid season of my first year watching indy Fully i made a List of all the drivers and how i rank them from A to F like a school test(A being F1 Worthy, F meaning they shouldn't be in the series)

Note this isn't about just how this season has gone but Overall how i would rate them:

Just to point this out.......

He had the best Toro Rosso that the team has ever made and scored 4 points. He was very very abject in F1.

And a shame no England manager seems to think that Carrick is worth anything. If he was any other nationality he'd be far more appreciated.

If you use Carroll up top, you will always play long ball football. Rooney was always going to be off the pace, they should have got him into a practice match or two before sticking him in.

4213

Hart, Walker, Smalling, Cahill, Cole, Cleverly, Carrick, Wilshere, Ox, Young, Rooney. Technical midfield that can hold onto the ball for more than a second, with decent pace on the wing, so long as Young isn't tired and a team that could do ok at 2016 minus Carrick who could be replaced by a Huddlestone by then. 2014 will be won by Uruguay.

MSC supposedly never closed in DRS looking at the graphic. Penalty?

Why? The crash doesn't happen until after Michael is through. That's not even the lap they were discussing post race.

Most of that was lost by going side by side through 1 and into 2. If he was on his own it's highly unlikely that he would have been caught. Michael also lost time overtaking Hulkenberg at the same time Lewis and Pastor were hitting.

Quote from DevilDare :He was never going to finish 4th. He was pretty much crawling at that point with 2 more laps to go.

He had 7s in hand with 1 1/2 laps to go. He was losing 2s a lap on what he was doing 5 laps before. He was going to finish 4th.

But 4th place gets you more points than 19th. He wasn't going to finish 3rd.

Also please give an example of flags and back of the grid penalties.

Quote from J@tko :Our "strengths" are Gerrard's excellent ability at long-range passes and crosses, pace out wide, Carroll being able to hold up the ball and Welbeck being pretty nifty in the final third.

lol Gerrard's hollywood balls should never be considered a strength!

The problem that England face is that football has moved on. It's not about being physical and quick, but patient and probing. They can't retain possession because their natural instinct is to boot it long, and thats easy to defend against. 442 is also a dead formation, the only top European club team to play it was Manchester United, and that's mainly been because they have not been able to identify a 10 until they signed Kagawa, so have resorted to playing Rooney there.

Quote from Mustafur :If you look at the Replay don't think Hamilton could of gave any more room, he came in pretty hard(keep in mind hes tyres where gone at this point too), so did Maldonado.

Pastor should of conceded at this point because only a crash was possible to make the corner, and that is to ignore the fact he had 4 tyres off the track at this point.

Yeah its not like I said he managed to leave more room for Romain earlier in the race. If he left a bit more room he'd take 4th. He didn't, he left himself open and paid the consequences for not driving for the title in those moments.

Well no, look at how Lewis handled Grosjean earlier in the race, he gave plenty of room and both came out ok. Here he didn't, it's like the red mist came down because he was racing Pastor and he had to fight as hard as he expected to be fought.

Meh, Schumacher losing his podium because he used DRS under the last lap yellow flags. meh meh meh.

Lewis should have thought of his title and taken P4. Consistency is the name of the game this season, and to defend that hard was just dumb.
