Quote from Dru :Hi Alex,

Just a Quick Question, with you being in Canada, will you be able to make the start times week in week out or will you still be at work/school/college?

ATM yes. If my schedule changes I'm sure you can replace me. But as it stands now that day and time is good for me.

I respect:

-Drivers who help others.
-Drivers that you can race with side by side.
-Drivers that move out of the way if they are being lapped.
-Drivers who strive to improve.

Respect is earned, not given.

I'm surprised you say you know only one or two people that you can race with cleanly. I on the other hand have been racing on these servers for two weeks today and know a hole bunch. I find there are more clean racers or at least people trying to be clean. You have to remember racing is racing and even the cleanest of drivers make mistakes and will wreck someone. I for one think I'm an extremly clean racer and I have wrecked many peoples races.

I also think the general population on the STCC servers are extremly helpful with tips and setup help. If you really want to do schooling on the server I do have one idea actually. Maybe some of the higher licenced driver or even some of the STCC league racers could come down to the lower servers and watch some races give tips and setups every now and then. Maybe a guest a week on a certain day.

In the next vid can we get a view of just your feet work. Also are you using the original G25 pedals?
Need more trackmap info ingame. Yellow and Orange don't cut it.

Their doesn't seem to be enough info for me while racing. There is a list of position and a trackmap that tells you if a car is ahead or behind. I'm new to LFS so maybe theirs an option I missed but I would like to see two colors added to the track map.

White: +1 lap or more ahead
Yellow: Same lap ahead
Green: You
Orange: Same lap behind
Red: +1 lap or more behind

A simple solution to get more info about what is going on around you.

Quote from Swiss_Tony :It's still there, it just isn't so obvious to get to now. Put your details in licence lookup and from there click on the Personal Licence Page link.

Thanks I see it now. Yeah not very obvious.

The one feature from the old forum which is missing on the new is the license progress bar. I hope it comes back.

Speaking of tracks...is there a list of all configurations run on the servers.

Your going to love the G25. I just got mine 5 days ago and I can't believe how good it is. That's saying a lot since this wheel is replacing my old TSW2.

Hate to say it but the old one was better.

Yeah I experienced the horn thing last night. Some guy was behind me, maybe slightly faster but we were racing for position and he kept honking at me. I wasn't blocking, just racing clean. He eventually rammed me into a wall.

Anyways I've been on the servers for 2 days now and I am enjoying it quite a bit, even though there seems to be way to much carnage from turn one and on.

Thanks for your hard work Scawen. I have two features I would like to see.

I have an old TSW(gameport) and when I shift I get that microsecond double click that makes it change more than one gear at a time. In rFactor they were able to fix it by adding some sort of delay. Would it be possible to add a slider that makes the game ignore two quick shifts. Something in miliseconds.

Second. Maybe it's just me but I haven't figured out how to rewind replays. If this still isn't in game would love to see this feature. If it's already in can someone tell me which button it is.

Cheers, love the game.

First off great vid. Also the only racing vid was great too. I have never heard of Muse before but I really dug that song. I looked them up and now I just got back from buying two of thier albums.

Quote from MAGGOT :I believe it's been here since S1 release... Way before S2 at least anyways

Quote from KiDCoDEa :actually i can more than imagine...
btw, i dont give a crap either about isi arcade toys no matter how well disguised in their usual 3 to 6 month cycle reashes... my comment was for road3 that was originally for n2003 (rf didnt even exist as project by then).
n2003 still has best ff feel and aero so i give it a spin once in a while.
spa67, road2 and long watkins are some of my fave tracks.
road2 tbh for me, is the perfect balance.

I haven't forgoten about NorthOntario(R3). That had lots to do with the limitations of sandbox. Then work/ real life got in the way. I'm so surprised you guys all remember this stuff.

Quote from vellanet :Yeah, someone give this man a LFS trackmaking program, he's he bomb!

Dude, I bought rFactor when I found out you were gonna port your tracks over!! Still waiting! No pressure or anything

Ouch, never thought anyone would buy a game because of me. Hope you enjoy rFactor without the track all the same. Me and rFactor have parted ways and it will take a miracle for me to back to it. But I did hear a buddy of mine say he was thinking of porting Roadone...so theres a small chance still. I've even publicly given permision on rFactor forums to convert any of my old tracks. Maybe someone will pick it up as a project one day. Thanks for the nice complement.

Quote from KiDCoDEa :Welcome Alex. I used ya Road Two Rattlesnake Point for so long in n2003 and did about 6 months of gtp testing on it. actually was my main track for test results. i know trenz also used to like it.
fab stuff. shame ya future projects never became present (at least publically).
keep it up , u obviously had talent.

Great to know my track was used for such projects. Whats a shame is the lack of "promised" support from ISI with track building. They really dropped the ball on this one. With that said all the projects I have in mind are just waiting for the proper platform. rFactor wasn't it unfortunatly. Personally I hope when LFS is final and they open the doors for modding, the support and instruction will be good enough. Could you imaging flying around Roadone or two with one of those GTR or open wheel cars in LFS.

Sup Maggot, yeah I love LFS. Well I do now. I first bought it when S2 came about. Tried it out and thought it was really nice. But I was having shifter problems with my TSW which keeped me from really enjoying it. So it's been on my computer collecting dust since then. Got into rFactor but after trying NKpro I could never get the feel back in rF. I came to the realisation that rFactor physics just...well sucked. But NKpro has way to many bugs still. So I was left wondering what to play. I remembered LFS came out with a recent patch and thought I would dust it off and give it a go. Man can't believe I ever played anything else. LFS is the shit and it's still considered alpha. Don't think LFSworld was around either when I first tried it. I think it's leaps and bounds above the competition in terms of physics and features. Works sucks atm! It has slacked a little but now I keep myself busy with photography. Specificaly gokart racing photos. How's the mod coming?

Thanks for that link Android very cool.
