Lightweight micro coupe

Hello. I saw that the mod system is out recently, and even though I don't have a license, I couldn't resist to create a car model. I'd like to create a model of a rather rare car so there are no ready-to-use models around the web and I believe that is a good way to bring more attention to not popular, but interesting cars. After some searching, I've found a Russian kit car called Pegas (or Pegasus if we translate to English). The car is very lightweight, its size can be compared to OKA (Snail mod in LFS), though it's much more powerful. It could be equipped with one of 4 available engines with power output from 120 to 145 hp.

The model is not one-to-one copy of the vehicle, this is my first attempt to model anything, so please bear with me. There is a lot to be done, including interior, wheel arches, exhaust, etc.

Speed Dreams models

I was wondering if someone finds these resources useful. There is an open source simulator called Speed Dreams which has a bunch of models distributed under Free Art License. The models are low-poly and made of triangles, so must be a good fit for LFS. Some models don't have the license notice so they may be assumed to be licensed under GPL.

The models are at https://sourceforge.net/p/spee ... e/trunk/data/cars/models/. There are different cars, e.g. retro sport cars, cars for rallycross, oval racing, etc.

Thanks. Is there any way I can close this thread?
Uploading hotlap doesn't change my stats

I'm not sure if I should ask this question in Technical Assistance or here so it goes here.

Long story short, I've uploaded a hotlap to LFSWorld and expected it to change the PB on my profile's page, but it didn't. The hotlap shows up and has better time than the one I've set online. Though, the PB and WR diff stay unchanged. Is this behaviour expected?

psd2svg + vectorizing layers in Inkscape, that's what I think about it.

This is what I was thinking about for some time, though I had a slightly different idea. My approarch would be to create svg files from Master Skinners' templates, so there are wiring (polygons) layers in them. Then combining them in a single svg or jpg/other file with wiring hidden and (maybe) watermark added on the skin background. I think I could help with that.
