Track is FE Gold. (the one i know best! *g*).

This happens before the 1st turn and also in the braking zone on the railway (on the bridge).
My setup is symetrical.
1 wheel blocks when braking. What do i have to change in setup??

After driving a lot with FWD-Cars i want to advance my skills with the real fast cars. I made some hotlaps with the FZ50 GTR. But no matter what i change in setup, the front right wheel always blocks when i hit the breaks. The other wheels do fine.

What do i have to change to prevent this? Well I'm sure there are more than one solution to this.

Please enlighten me. Thanx.

You mean something like this: http://media.putfile.com/tranquilo

Maybe thats the reason for all the wreckers out there. They never drove a real car!! *gg*

Live for Speed should include a check for the drivers license when unlocking!

BTW: I'm 31.

How about Offline Statistics?
--==Gogo==--

It would be nice to have statistics of your offline races. Like you have in the LFS-Desktop for your online races.

I'd really like to know how much laps i have yet on BL-GP. And what my best times are, etc...

Another Suggestion: A Display "How much laps possible with this amount of Fuel" would be great. Like you have it in GTR. I don't think a realtime display of how much laps are left with your fuel is necessary. But you should be informed in some way if you have fuels for just 2 or 3 laps left. Maybe Pitradio? That would be great.

Is there something overclocked in your PC?

I have a AMD3000+ and a Radeon X800Pro with 1 Gig Ram and have 90FPS when driving alone and 50-60 fps when driving online with 20 others.

I just drove a few laps at BL-GP with the race_1 setup in the XFR. After a few laps it's really good to drive. Better than i had in mind (i'm improving - Horray! )

But I noticed something really interesting:
The first few laps I pushed to see what time i could make. But I didn't get under 1:21.5xx. Also my tires got hot.
So I decided to drive some smoother laps to cool the tires down and suddenly also my laptime went down. I drove 1:20.0xx laps one after another.

I always thought that if the tires sqeeze in the corners without drifting I'm fast because the car is on the limit. Am I wrong??

Also the race_1 setup seems to work fo longer races. Thats also one difference to the downloaded setups. With these you can drive 2 or max. 3 laps before the tires are completely red.

Well... I've never been on Nordschleife or Isle of Man. But i really like the idea of a very large Track with lots of curves.

So if the developers would make a fantasy-track with all the highlights of Nordschleife and/or Isle of Man, that would do it for me!

I don't like the idea of my money in the hand of some licencer.
What times are possible with standard-setup?

Lets take BL-GP with an XFR for example. (Yeah, i drive this a lot)

My best time was 1:19.0xx but i don't think this was because of the setup i downloaded. I've never made it that fast since this.

In online races the laptimes of the best are around 1:17.xxx.

I had the idea to this thread while reading this one: Good driving vs good setups .

So, what times are possible with standard-setup?

Yeah. I've read some postings here that LfS doesn't work that good with overclocked components in your PC.

Try to remove all Network-Protokolls and reinstall them. Maybe this helps.

Do you have this problem in other games too when plaing LAN or on the internet?

I've heard about this problem in other games. There the solution was to disable WLAN in Bios.

Just a suggestion.

I just posted in the "My Little Suggestions"-Thread that the fastet lap in hotlapping should be saved automatically.

If this would be implemented, a ghost-mod for hotlapping could not be that difficult to make...

Would that violate some patents?

Quote from GeForz :there IS an undo button .....

Shame on me. Found it. I switched between Setups to see the difference. Then the setup is automatically saved.

I just drove some hotlaps an there is somehting to improve:
The fastest Lap for each car on each track should be saved automatically in Hotlap-Sessions.

I also have a little suggestion:

I definetly need an UNDO-Button in the Setup-Screen!

It would also be great to see if your friends are online right now.
Most online-games provide a buddy-list (if LfS does also i haven't found it till now).

Quote from Scawen :There is no need to do that.

When your S2 licensed friend wants to drive on your computer, simply go into the unlocking screen and let him type in his name and password there. When he is finished, type in your own name and password again. Then you don't lose any unlocks.

Perfect! Thanx!

Quote from Gunn :Just make a 2nd installation in a new folder and unlock it with a new license.

Just an Idea...

Would it work to copy an already unlocked LfS into a new directory on another PC? So no unlocks are wasted.

I will try this driver-profile-thing!
More LfS Licences on one PC??
--==Gogo==--

Is it possible to change the user for one LfS Installation on one PC?
I ask this because some friends visit me from time to time for racing. And i don't want them to ruin my statistics!

Another question: Is it possible that more than one PC can connect to LfS from one Internet-Connection? Some games made problems when trying to play with more PCs on one internet-connection. (IP is the same for all PCs?? - Thats how a friend explained me this problem).

Thanx!
