BUK 52 — Soviet Utility Van Legend
The BUK 52 is a faithful recreation of an iconic Soviet all-terrain van — a true symbol of rugged simplicity and mechanical endurance.
Built to survive the harshest conditions, this little box on wheels can crawl through mud, snow, and mountains with the determination of a tank — yet it will barely reach 110 km/h on a good day.
Under the skin lies a 2.45 L carbureted inline-four producing around 110 hp and 227 Nm of torque, paired to a 4-speed gearbox with a 5.13 final drive. The result is slow but unstoppable progress, perfect for off-road adventures or nostalgic road trips across virtual Siberia.
This mod focuses on authentic physics, period-correct gearing, and the unmistakable “van-shaped-brick” driving feel. Expect plenty of body roll, long steering travel, and a dose of vintage charm.
