South City 150 Begins Second Half of 2012 Season
November 3, 2012 by Cameron Corns

At the half way point of the World TBO Championship Series's 2012 campaign the points standing are lead by Nikifor Dakovic by 61 points over Isaac Price - who won the Blackwood 200- and 104 over Joe Holmes who missed the Blackwood 200 three weeks ago and lost the points lead in doing so. The series has seen three different winners, from three different race teams in its first three races. Joe Holmes dominated the Kyoto 225 in his number 36, My3id Gaming, XRT. The Aston 175 went to Dakovic's 09, Ixion Simsports, XRT after Joe Holmes had to pit for fuel late in the race after a long battle with the eventual victor. The Blackwood 200 was taken by Isaac Price's 99, IneX Racing, XRT with Nikifor not far behind, but unable to catch him.

Bosnia and Wales pace the Nation Points Standings on the power of Dakovic and Price's performances.

IneX Racing and Ixion pace the team championship points standings.

Round 4 this season will be the South City 150 which will take place in South City on the South City Town Course Reversed. This event is a large unknown and is scheduled to be one of the season's shortest races in terms of distance. This event took the place of last year's Fern Bay 300 which took forever to run and contained multiple yellow flags due to flipped vehicles and spins. This new race and location will be a welcome new addition to the World TBO Championship Series for 2012. The South City 150 is slated to occur on November 4th.
