The CTCC had a fantastic start this past Tuesday with the 1st Round of the Championship. Only the fastest 31 cars out of 53 qualifyers made it to the grid with 27 cars finishing Race 1 and 28 cars finishing Race 2. Both races were non-stop action all over the field with side-by-side battles almost every lap somewhere in the track. In the end the winner of the 1st round was 69-E.Leyton who was 4th in Race 1 and 1st on Race 2. 33-F.Solis and 23-C.Persico were close behind tied for second overall for the round.

The 2nd round of the CTCC will be next Tuesday at Fern Bay on a slightly modified Green Reverse circuit featuring a new turn 1 and the newly opened hairpin by the beach. We expect a bit more casualties for this one.
