On the third day of Christmas, the Open Wheel Racing League gave to me… a new edition of the OWRL MRT cup! Starting 27 December, the annual tradition starts at Blackwood GP using a special layout. The drivers will content for the coveted MRT Cup over three rounds. This year the full competition can be driven with a S1 license. The other two tracks we will race at are South City Chicane and Fern Bay Gold rev.

The OWRL, which started in 2004 as a MRT only league, goes back to its early days. At the same time with the final race at 3 January 2010 we will make the bridge from the old to new and look forward to the exciting events the new year will bring us.

To signup, simply go to the upcoming events on the top hand right and register for the events you participate in. Make sure you drive a pb or upload a hotlap before signup deadline (3 hours before the race).

For the race at Blackwood we will use a layout that adds a chicane on the long straight and alters the penultimate corner. The layout is installed on our training server and is available for download on our site as well.
