BVR N1 Procar Championship Round 5 was at Aston Grand Prix.
There was a fierce battle between championship leader Redekisde and Sean, who sat second in the championship standings. Sean managed to overtake Redekisde during the sprint race, and the two remained close until the very end.
As Redekisde entered the final lap and approached the last corner of the race while chasing Sean, he carried a bit too much speed into the turn and clipped the sausage kerbs with his right wheels.
This unsettled the car, lifting the right wheels off the ground before the car flipped over completely... at the final corner of the entire sprint race.

Redekisde's team worked quickly to repair the damaged car and return it to the grid. He had to start from the back of the grid for the feature race, he drove through the field and impressively finished in 5th position.

uNite (nikopdr) and redekisde (redekizde) each received a +1 bonus point, uNite for setting the fastest lap, and redekisde for securing pole position in qualifying. (Although Gabor originally secured pole position but did not participate in the race, so the bonus point was awarded to redekisde, who qualified second.)
Redekisde's accident proved to be costly in the championship battle,allowing Sean to take the lead and become the new championship leader. Redekisde now sits in 2nd place, only 14 points behind.
