Donald and DLV remain the kings of the 2025 Summer Tour!

2 weeks later after the first round, again at Westhill, again at the Karting National track, this time no deep concrete transformation of the track... Or just a little bit to make the track into a RX Rallycross by LFS France configuration for a lap under the 40 seconds mark with the Lemon Culte. After 2 weeks of pre-qualifications, it's the ranking leader Donald who took the pole position in front of L.Rydh. Behind them there was a FSR pair with DLV and System. Daf was 5th in front of new comer and JSK's MRc team mate Samet. KingJr was holding the Texas drivers pair in respect for 7th, as Papator and LeManchot were following. Mitsu would get the last top 10 spot in front of Omar. Infortunately, the previous Summer Tour's champ, L.Rydh, had to miss this second round too. Per the Rallycross standards, the pre-qualifications results would split the grid in 2, as odd numbers would go in semi 1 with Donald, System, Samet, Papator and Mitsu, meanwhile DLV, Daf, KingJr, LeManchot and Omar were in the second semi final.

Semi 1

Donald took the best start into a tight field of 5 drivers. At the second turn, but first braked corner, System infortunately tasted a bit Donald's rear bumper, but that was nothing compared to what was coming a second later, as indeed, Papator missed his braking point, creating chaos into the second corner. And in this chaos, it's Samet who took the opportunity of leading the race. But that only lasted 2 sectors, as into the second lap, System took the leadership of the race from the MRc driver. A moment later, Mitsu was getting 4th from Papator's hand. On 3rd lap, Donald climbed up to 2nd into a recovery mission, and he was starting to chase System. But the FSR Team's boss didn't let his GUM Garage's opponent to take the lead that early as he decided to take the joker lap on his last lap of the race. Anyway, Donald still successfully achieved his recovery mission and also secured final's pole position by winning this semi final. Behind him on the podium, System and Samet were going to accompany him into the final. Mitsu would end 4th and scoring the small final's pole position, in front of Papator.

Semi 2

Semi 2's poleman DLV took a good start, but LeManchot's was better as the Texas Drivers took the second place in front of Daf and Omar, while KingJr dropped 5th. A lot of battles happened in this first lap while DLV was escaping, but it was Omar who took the best opportunity into the provisonal 2nd, in front of Daf and LeManchot, while KingJr has sent his car into sleeping position. As the joker laps game played, Daf dropped in 4th, but then patiently closed the gap on his opponents. DLV was still strongly leading while Daf clearly impressed the crowd with his fast pace by setting the fastest lap, and by the jokers strategies, he entered the last lap into 2nd place. DLV then won the race in solitary, securing his place into the final, with Daf (2nd) and Omar (3rd). LeManchot and KingJr would consolate themselves into the small final moment later.

Small final

For this small final, we had Mitsu in pole position in front of LeManchot, Papator and KingJr. The green light wasn't even out that the first drama happened, LeManchot totally messed up his start and did it way too early. He has been sent back to the spectator by the game, meanwhile at the same time, Papator and KingJr made the same mistake by snowball effect. This left Mitsu for a peacefull race, meanwhile Papator and KingJr were hit with a 30s penalty for false start. But the Spanish driver, Mitsu, took his joker early, leaving Papator and KingJr in front of the race, and also forcing Mitsu to do some efforts to get back to first, as physically they were in front of him, despite the penalty, but that was a good thing for the spectators. Behind them, after a second joining a couple of seconds later, LeManchot was on a recovery mission to try to reduce the gap on the "30s penalty receivers" group of Papator and KingJr. Mitsu would eventually get the leadership back into 5th lap's second sector, to take the win 2 laps later. KingJr and Papator would see the checkered flags a couple of seconds later, but all the eyes were on LeManchot. Would the Texas Drivers' close the gap enough to get ahead of KingJr and Papator with their penalty? And the answer is yes! He finished 28 seconds behind Mitsu, and that was 7 seconds ahead of KingJr, and 10 ahead his team mate Papator. Unbelievable recovery from LeManchot who finished 2nd of the small final in front of KingJr in the podium, while Papator infortunately end in last position.

Final

On the start, the trio from the first row with Donald, DLV and System took a quiet start, but on the second row, it was animated as Omar took the best from Daf and Samet. While DLV took the leadership from Donald's hand, at the same time Omar did take the provisonal podium from System's hand. But this first laps animation wasn't over as System decided to go back for it and claim back the provisonal podium spot. We entered the second lap with DLV leading in front of Donald, System, Samet, Daf and Omar who finally lost all his successfull start, by doing a early joker entrance. Samet decided to make his joker lap at the end of the second lap, while System did it so in the 3rd lap. Daf was temporarily 3rd, with System, Omar and Samet following. Then it was Daf's turn to take the joker lap, putting System back into 3rd, while Omar's early strategy was paying, putting him into 4th, in front of Samet, while Daf left the joker lap on the last place. It seemed like the positions were set for this final, except that DLV was trying to hold Donald on respect by distance, but the FSR Team's driver still had to take his joker lap, and he tried to take it on the last lap, but that wasn't enough to keep Donald away from winning the final, 1 second ahead of DLV. System take the last podium place, while he's followed by Omar, Samet and Daf.

Bonus

Bonus race, party time! With a reversed grid from the prequalification order including everyone, and by this game it was Omar who inherited of the pole position, in front of Mitsu and LeManchot. At the start, Omar took a great fly off, less better for Mitsu, even worst for LeManchot. Papator got a good opportunity into 2nd in front of DLV after the first lap "clean chaos". But infortunately, Donald suffered a small contact with KingJr, putting the Lemon Culte into sleeping on the wall, meaning the Lituanian had to use a reset. A couple of seconds later, Papator had to taste the reset too, dropping him into the last position. He would be followed a lap later by Mitsu, to be the 3rd driver victim of the Lemon Culte's needing to do some sort of happy flipping, or it just wanted to end the evening into resting for the last round... Omar was still leading in the front, but he was starting to see DLV's blue car getting bigger into his mirrors. Behind them, Samet was holding 3rd in respect from System and Daf. KingJr, LeManchot, Donald, Mitsu and Papator were following. At the 5th lap, Omar decided to do his joker lap, DLV decided to stay on track to escape and melt the gap to gain a advantage at the end of the race. On the back, Donald was continuing his recovery mission, trying to virtually recover the most of time he can due to the reset penalty that will follow on the results. DLV took his joker lap at the end of the 7th lap, and he left it with a very small gap ahead of Omar! At the same time, a green car Parked on the side of the track! Indeed, GUM's Daf suffered a fuel failure, as there wasn't enough red left into his seigneury's tank, "I paid tribute to my team's boss, as he's Tomfuel..." he would say after the race. And DLV took the bonus' race win, less than a second ahead of Omar! Samet did held well in front of System to get the last step on the podium. KingJr was finishing into a respectful 5th, in front of LeManchot, meanwhile the reset group were following, Donald in front of Mitsu and Papator, while Daf end up the pack a lap behind with his fuel issue.

In the round scoring, it's a FSR 1-2! Indeed, with a semi win, final second place, and bonus win, DLV scores 199 points, and no one else did better! With less success but still 2 podiums (semi and final), System has scored 194 points this evening, same as Donald and Omar, as they're all 3 sharing the second spot for the whole evening. Samet would be 5th with 192, in front of the duo LeManchot-Daf with 185. Mitsu and KingJr would also be a matching pair as it was the trend this evening, with 184 points. Papator is last with 179 points.
In the overall of this 2025 Summer Tour, DLV is making the surprise, becomming the co-leader with Donald, as they both got 391 points! System is in 3rd with 387 points, in front of Mitsu (376) and LeManchot (374). KingJr is 6th (370) in front of Papator (368), meanwhile the rest of the drivers are out of contention for missing a round. On the team side, FSR Team take the leadership with 778 points, ahead of GUM Garage with 772. Texas driver is 3rd with 742 while Mitsu brings Formula Racing Team all alone in 4th with 376

Next and last round of the 2025 Summer Tour will be held in 2 weeks. This time, out of the Karting National track, but still at Westhill, as we will take the countryside's roads, into the Ritonbourg Raceway layout in reverse. We hope to see you there!
