GTR enthusiasts who are up for a challenge have been gifted a new racing structure in the CTRA Race 3 server with the introduction of a new car class. The GFR class came about as a result of the re-definition of the GT2 class.

The under-used XFR and UFR cars from the GT2 class are now available for CTRA Silver and above licenced drivers while the FXR-GT2, FZR-GT2 and XRR-GT2 cars now require a Gold licence to race. This change addresses several issues, including the previous lack of CTRA rewards for Gold-licenced racers since the LRF class was closed.

The GFR class equals or even exceeds GT2 class straight-line speed, though owing to the lack of downforce on UFR and XFR cars, it is slower than GT2 around corners. This, of course, makes for a very varied and exciting multi-class racing environment indeed.
