Pitting rules:

Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Now also the RTFR XL version joined the list of events using user created content and for this first time a replica car, that made rally courses unsafe in 70ies,was used for our racing fun. But as always - a difficult car caused attendance drop - if previous race had full 40 car grid when using the "people's RWD car",then the handful mid-engined sports car attracted 28 drivers to post a laptime in qualifying, five of them never joined grid. Also the attrition rate reached quite low rate - barely more than 60% of starters were classified as finished - almost 20% less than all time average.

V.Laguckas has turned up his activity in RTFR this year and this race was no exception - he practiced well, set the best laptime in both pre-race practice and also when in counted - he scored his 4th pole position in RTFR XL,leading all 43 laps led him to victory lane for the 2nd time in this event series, earning also his 6th top5 finish. Despite leading all laps, the winners advantage was anything else but huge - just 8 seconds after him the duel for 2nd position also crossed the finish line,Fatal was able to hold his position and score his best ever RTFR XL finish, improving by 1 position (his 2nd place in qualifying was improvement by 2 positions),that's his 3rd top5 finish. The combo selector Upsas could at least stand out with fastest lap of the race (his 3rd),but due speeding penalty finished just 3rd,adding the 5th top5 finish to his stats. Despite penalty for too short pitstop,Unite kept the 4th place in results, which is his 13th top5 finish,Doni completed this lithuanian/finnish top5 with his 2nd entry in it.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
South City's longest standard configuration City Long seems to be the most popular configuration of the environment - from 12 races run here in RTFR XL,exactly half were selected to run in this configuration (2 in reversed direction),Town Course is a close 2nd with 1/3 of all selections.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
The combo selector Upsas got himself into another paragraph - his 10.12 seconds pitstop was the shortest work free pitstop. There were 2 even shorter pitstops, but both refuelled the car.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
With +7 positions gain it was...me! The event host started this race from 16th position and despite all the disputes with other drivers and walls finished 9th.

VOD at Youtube:

The winner of this race was very eager to select combo for next race scheduled in 4 weeks - since mods are locked out for next race, his plan B selection was XFR at Kyoto National Reversed. That will be 3rd appearance for this car in the series,1st outside Aston. But next week normal RTFR will return and for 2nd week in row it will be race in South City - which car and configuration, that will be announced in the weekend, but regular broadcast viewers might have enough hints. Also next week RGE will offer one last chance for newcomers to join AWS - an RB4 race at Fern Bay's very long configuration awaits with an additional challenge - there are few short sections on the course which are not paved!
