I am currently experiencing a strange bug. I cannot save the Basic Settings on my Chuckland server anymore.

All other tabs work (extended settings, access control, etc), I get this response after saving:

All ok!

Back to extended host details - Back to host listing

But when I save the basic settings, I do not get that message, I simply get directed back to the same page and see my old settings again. Nothing has been saved.

I do have other servers which work fine, it's only this one affected.


@Victor: I'll leave the server in the state it is now, so you have a chance to analyse the cause. Hope to hear soon

Found the cause in the meantime:

Turns out that an empty "Host player name" will trigger this issue. An error message would be really helpful.

Aha, thanks for the report. An error was generated but it wasn't displayed hence confusion occurred! Fixed now.
