2021

Round 3

Sunday,11th July
17:30 UTC / 19:30 CET* / 20:30 EET*

* Summer time

The final round of the short 3 round season features race at the Aston's 1.9km South configuration,which consists of 2 different tightening 180° turns and a quick chicane with downhill braking zone.

After 2 of 3 rounds there is a distinctive leader in standings,which might have negative influence on intrigue in battle for championship,but nothing (besides nations cup) is decided yet as one fluke might make things very shaky. Also battle for teams title is still open,so also there current leaders may not relac too much.

IMPORTANT! Due very specific pitlane entry,using left turn light or emergency lights are mandatory when entering pitlane - at latest lights must be turned on right after exiting last 180° turn!

The season finale of 2021 was a return of Aston's tricky South configuration,which demanded quite high focus on racing from everyone due to it's 2 tightening turns,where slight mistake meant little rallycross on grass or gravel. Main title contender Fatass kept the tradition alive and won also the 3rd round of the season,this time over 20 seconds clear of competition,showing that his win was never in jeopardy. His pole position was however,but Unite's best effort was just to tie the best time,the other front row starter and standings leader's main rival was one of the victims of turn one,where he practically lost a lap and chances for good finish. 2nd in finish was last year's round winner Rony,who started from last row of 8 cars grid,he made 2 passes early on and then just capitalized on errors of drivers up front. Texas had chasing company for most of the early race phase,but later could run away clear which at the end was for 3rd place finish,that is his 2nd podium finish in row.

Full season recap and final official standings will be posted later this week or next week!
