AS Historic - Making layout/object bug
Hi,

I wanted to make a layout for Aston Historic (reverse), and I found a part where placing objects is impossible. If I use the upper view (90degree from above track), then I can not place objects in the area on the screenshot.

Objects are simply not displayed there, my cursor is empty and I can't place them either. However, if I move back down the track, and tilt the view, objects are visible and I can place them. Unfortunatelly, that way I hardly see anything, and it's not really possible to put anything there.

Screenshots:

The view from upper cam - no objects can be seen even though I have selected one.

The one on the picture was actually placed using a far away tilted view.

Tilted view - object visible, hardly, but visible. Red circle indicates where my cursor was.

I've shaded the area in red where the upper cam doesn't show/allow me to place any object.

This happens on all tracks that have this corner, AS Historic (R), AS National (R).Help appreciated.

PS: If I switch to ground cam, objects beyond the starting point of the area I shaded are not visible either.
I've noticed this one too. Forgot to post it here though. It's the final hairpin at AS national.
just w8 until the final s3 patch

no bugs at all
For no bugs at all, we have to first report them, no?
I know this is old bug but...:

Even if you place objects far from the hairpin, the objects placed on the hairpin disappear when you load the saved layout later.

Also if you place some objects there while hosting the pbjects cause an error (something .OBJ something) and people cannot join because of it.
There is a way, but you need to adjust you FOV to be able to place it

JOOS - OBJS is the error

But if you manage to add objects there, the objects vanish when you load the layout next time. If you add those objects while hoisting a race online guests will get that error message and can't join. It has probably been like that for few years now, hopefully these get fixed some point. Not a biggie though
