Shouldn't we receive a notice that a maintenance is scheduled?

There is a notice, that is not even on the main page of lfs.net, as you have to enter the news section to see it. Most people won't look at that page unless they are new or a new patch has come out, etc.

But of course, when I (a managers of the biggest LFS community in Spain) received the first questions about the downtime LFS.net was already down, so I had no idea what was happening.

Twitter, Google+... nothing. As always Scavier forget this thing exists (as stated by Victor on a previous maintenance or failure).

Email notification? Nope, that would be too much.

Well, I accidentally went to the main page and spotted the news on the right.
