I am a new user of LFS.I would like to create a large Autocross layout but I need more open area than the included AX track for my layout. Is there a way to create a large open 'parking lot' type areas that I could then create my layout within? It would be even better if I could create the area properly with adjacent grass, buildings, etc. Is this possible with LFS?

Specifically, I need a rectangular area 1700' by 1000' to work within.

No,you are limited to what is already available in LFS. However,Scawen has said that one of the planned new tracks will have a bigger area. When it will be released is still unknown unfortunately.
