Racers!
The Seventh Annual Kyoto 500 will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2014. This is the latest we've ever started this, but a mix of lack of motivation and waiting on when I'd start full time hours affected this starting.
The format for the event will remain the same, along with entry requirements. Drivers must have 300 or more online laps of KY1 with the FO8, A total online driven distance equal to or greater than 12,340 miles / 20,000 kilometers, along with a hotlap within 103% of the world record posted to LFSWorld. Drivers will also be obligated to attend two practice sessions organized in the weeks leading up to race weekend.
Qualifying will take place on the Saturday and Sunday prior to the race weekend, running from 1800 - midnight utc each day. Each driver will have three attempts per day to set their best four lap average. Pole will be locked in after qualifying on Saturday, 21 June. All other positions will be set after qualifying on Sunday, 22 June.
The race will be 268 laps plus two pace laps, starting at 18:00 UTC on Saturday.
Practice sessions will start on Sunday, 15 June and run through Friday, 20 June. Stream details not yet available.
