The innards. I'm proud of the wiring, as I tend to build extremely messy systems:

Is that a Scythe Ninja cooler?

PS I HATE IDE WIRING!

The paint still feels sticky. I am half tempted to get out the can of mineral spirits, clean the paint off my case, and then buy plastic primer and try again...
If your just painting plastic you may want to look into some "Vinyl Dye"

In my past experiences you end up with a much better finish on plastic and it lasts a lot longer. No peeling or anything either as it actually bonds with the plastic
There we go:

I couldnt find a case i like, so i made it myself http://www.non-sense.com.ar/gabinete/
I don't have a full shot here, but I just bought this a week ago and have been adding on more and more to top it off . Excellent system so far  And loving the case for hiding cables, cooling, design... probably my favorite PC of all . And runs games perfect at max everything... LFS feels like a whole new world.

Been saving for something like this. Haven't had a new PC for almost 5 years now . Last thing on the list is a very very large LCD display with 2560x1600 res . Then I'll be finished for good.
Nice System Tweaker! I've got the 9700led(?) copper one. It really is funny, you read about how big it is, then it still surprises you when you get it!
30" LCD and you'll really be set.
You forgot to mention what race (wheel?) hardware you got.
Ahhh, I've always had the G25 (about 1 year old now, test model). Speakers are Logitech Z5500. Everything wil be complete with a new display .

Yeah the 9700 heatsink is a behemoth, but I really love it. Mounting it was a REAL pain, but worth it in the end. The stock cooler that came with the Intel chip was putting the CPU at 50-55C average on idle or low use. This new cooler brought me down to 30-35C average on idle or low use, and that is pretty good so far (I know I could do better). I am also impressed because now I can turn down all my fans in my case and still only have +2 or 3 more degrees of temperature overall on the CPU and in the entire system. The heatsink can maintain so much heat because there is so much copper for heat to spread through. With all my fans on high, it is fairly loud, but nothing too extreme. Last night I was fiddling with the low speed fan temps and seeing if temperatures were affected (mostly worried about CPU), but hardly anything changed. All my fans are 3-speed, and medium or low are my desired speeds.

Since I got this case I was all of a sudden really anal about cable clutter, and even organized the cables behind my desk. Bought some cable tubing and mounts allowing me to feed the cables up high and behind the desk, out of sight. Basically there are NO cables down by my feet, even the G25 cables go "up" and out of the way. Will take a picture of the whole desk and everything when I get the new display. The cost of the display alone is enough to build another system :o But I do a lot of graphics and design work which is most comfortable to work with in a high resolution. I've been living with 1600x1200 for a long time, so the 30" display will allow two 1280x1600 halves for putting applications next to each other . Plenty of room, heheh.

If future games require more power, I'll probably do an SLI with the same video card. But I just don't see that happening for a long while . LFS has never felt so good to me... I think my money was well spent for all my needs (would've spent a lot more from a manufacturer, and wouldn't even match the specs/price I payed for this!).
