On the first restart from Safety car, at Lap 17 (Scored Lap 16), Car 19 illegally overtook Car 96 in Turn 7. Between Turns 7 and 8, Car 19 stayed ahead of Car 96, and unduly held him up by remaining slow while all cars ahead accelerated for the restart. This caused several cars to close and a cluster of cars was formed. Car 96 retook his place on the Pit Straight from Car 19. Car 27 joined this cluster after illegally overtaking Car 14 in Turn 8. It appears that there was a lag-contact made between Cars 27 and 19, fault indeterminable.

For the actions of overtaking under safety car, unsportsmanlike behaviour (holding up car(s) unfairly), Car 19 is excluded from Round 2, the driver is penalized 15 points to his Driver's Championship (Not to be applied to Team or Nation if applicable), and placed on Series Probation for the remainder of the 2013 LFSCART Light Series for being involved in two lag-related incidents costing a competing car their race.

Car 27 is warned for overtaking under Safety Car.

Car 52 - 5 point penalty - Unauthorised spectating from on-course. Next offence of this sort during the 2013 LFSCART Light Series for Car 52 will result in a 10-point penalty.
