Hi All,

I am looking into Hosting a Dedicated server, and was just wondering, although it might sound silly, is it advisable running a dedicated host session (Non GFX) and also playing LFS on the same PC?

The PC I have is pretty beefy, and I have a fibre connection, so was just wondering

Not a problem really, all the lfs dedi host needs is bandwidth the rest doesn't matter.

Did it before when I had also fibre connection,never had problems. Of course the only downside was lack of UPS,which meant server going down on power outage/interuption,that destroyed few events...

UPS is not a problem as I work for IT company, so could borrow one

I would not want it up 24/7 as I would prefer "a" human admin, not insim or anything else, but if it was up, I could give some "other human" the admin rights.

Fordy: It's really really easy to setup. Download the ZIP, then edit the cfg file. The options are fairly self explanatory and commented.
