Any idea what I could use, My budget is around £30.
I've looked down all avenues but I thought i'd see what LFS'ers have for ideas!

an old computer desk, or a wooden shelve with some modification with a seat might be a better bet.

the cheapest ones like the playseat are so awful you are just paying to piss yourself off.

Well i dont agree here. playseats can be pritty good, but you need to have the correct one. the early build are not that great. but the new playseat evolution is very stable.

(own 3 playseats sofar. Playseat evolution = the best)

hi mate, what i've done is i found in a charity shop old laptop stand for £5 and just add one more leg coz it wasn't stable. now is prfect for £5. if you want i can send you some pics. so you will know what to look for
