I just have finished my first karting-style layout.

Everything works well but I cannot make a qualifying session. Is it possible to have one?

Not sure about this but when you set up a server with this layout run a practice session and let people run their times. After certain time copy those times and arrange grid. (Not sure about this but thats how we did it in LFS Karting League)
