I found it a while back, but I lost it. How do I change the text color of my name in the sim? I can't remember and I've looked everywhere.

With the text dialog open, press and hold CTRL and select the desired colour via mouse.
This works for all text input dialogs by the way, including setup names, replay names, chat messages,... everything really

And oh, you can always CTRL+ (numbers 0-8), i.e. CTRL+1 (when the text dialogue is open). I've always preferred this way over going click click.
