Now for some really bad news, one of the biggest teams on the Grid Newman/Haas racing has quit indycar due to economic Reasons: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96607

For those who don't know them they are the team that Bourdais won hes 4 consecutive Champcar titles with.

Well, IRL needs to do something quick.. sad to say, but I hope that Las Vegas race isn't IRL's one last big event (outside of the 500). Of course it will go on, but..

I see it falling further down into obsurity I'm afraid unless things change there.

I say give it a year then see what's the issue, they have the new chassis for next year which should revitalize the series.

The way they have quit does suggest to me they might be back after next year though.
