Maxlan lanparties take place twice a year in northern germany in a small town called Meppen. It's just about 15km away from the dutch boarder, so if you're dutch you're welcome 
Besides other tournaments in counter strike (well, of course), call of duty 4 or starcraft II, maxlan also hosts the only live for speed tournament at a germany lanparty, attracting some well known german drivers.
The tournaments consists of 5-8 races, 20 Minutes each throughout the three days. Tracks and other rules will be coordinated by the drivers themself in a democratic way. Between races drivers can of course take part at all other tournaments, play on consoles like xbox360, wii or old-scool SNES. You can even have a nice drink and meet people at our cocktail bar, which is right beside the racing area, where we try to gather all lfs racer to be seated side by side.
For those of you, who are not taking part at our wonderful event, there will even be a live coverage of the races and some major starcraft II matches. The coverage will be done bei SKs huSKy. You can visit huSKy's streaming website at http://livestream.com/HuskyGoalie.
