Can you all tell me how to properly use the clutch?
And the throttle...it's basically the accelorater..right?
So why not call it that?

And how come most of the cars (except for the formula cars including the one made by mcgill ) won't drive?
They stay stuck in neutral and what's worse not only can I not drive them but there is always a red light on the dash board.
What's wrong?!

And sometimes when I drive from teh garage, I can't increase speed when going on the next gear...it goes to 70km/h and it stays around there

And one last question...
What does it mean when I try to change gears but that thing with the lights..you know green, yellow then red...goes to red quickly and the speed doesn't increase..in fact it decreases...what does that mean?

I really don't know whats going on...
Try to help me with my ignorance...I will gladly learn if you teach me.
MRT is an S1 car, please post with your licenced account.
...nevermind, NAI beat me to it...

It doesn't? I could've sworn it did. :P
Does anyone else get the feeling that this may just be a troll having some "fun"? I don't know, it just seems to me that he's a bit too ignorant about cars and driving in general to be interested in LFS in the first place. And then his name... I don't know, smells kinda fishy to me
Maybe it's Shadowww.

How come you assume that it doesn't? It does.

I can tell you that it doesn't. It has RPM light, but no shift light.

That's what I thought after reading it the first time... Throttle - Accelerator , not being able to shift.
On the other hand, he might be pretty young and came over here from Mario Cart or somethin'... There you just press one button and off you go..

Have a look here: http://www.lfsmanual.net/
especially http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Options#Controls

have fun!

Not really, it's actually Need For Speed.
I wish I had mario cart on the computer. I love that game.
And yes that is exactly what I am use to. One button to accelerate.
But all the sites that I visited didn't really tell me much about the car, hopefully one of your links will work but I think I already visited the other two.
Thanks for the help

Bit of misunderstanding here... or misinterpretation. It doesn't show you the actual RPM but it does also not tell you the optimum shift point directly. Though by showing green, yellow and red lights it give you a rough idea where the ideal revs to accelerate and shift are.
