I just got S2 and I have decided that I was going to put on an oval event. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea of making a NASCAR style skin on the cars manditory. So here's what I came up with:

Details:
-Kyoto Ring

-100 Laps

-Pit stop only if needed

-FXR

-NASCAR Server (If I can get it working from here.. probably will.. if not it will be on FM oval 1 though.. meet in meeting room)

-Must have a skin with a # unique to the other drivers (#5 is still open because I'm not racing in this)

I am going to test a few different things that might make the racing closer and then go from there. I would like all who are interested to show up tonight for a test/practice for a half an hour or so..

The actual Race is currently scheduled for the first Saturday in March at 2 p.m. EST. (NYC) but it is flexable depending upon those who wish to enter.

Meet in the meeting room tonight at 7 p.m. EST if you want to test/practice.. (Will do so through races)

you cancelled it after 2 days of sign ups? wow to be honest you need to be more patient. Sometimes it takes a month or so to get a grid. Plus you're not delivering something catching. Plus it is somewhat of disappointing to read NASCAR Event and se, that there will not be any kind of cautions. Finally the March has got already one very big Oval Event, you automatically have to compete with (eventhough you've a different car and a different date). The Kyoto 250 has got nearly 100 sign ups...

I just got around to reading this. TBH the XRR or FZR is a better car for the oval...just more exciting in those other two

I probably would have signed up anyways...give it patience mate...there's still quite a few oval racers in LFS the last time i checked

I sort of got ahead of myself there anyhow.. I was (And still truly am) a noob.

I didn't think there was any events to compete with on the oval.. I just need to focous on racing right now before I get into anything like this.. if anybody wanted to take this over and try it themselves they are welcome to.
