Hello Guys/LFS Team !
I´ve got an problem.
I build me a new Computer last week and it runs perfect atm. But there is a big problem -> I can play all Games without lags/freezes just not LFS.
First i thought its my Wheel (Driving Force Pro) which is causing the Freeze but its not. Its LFS. Everytime when i start LFS and go online/single player and play it 5 Minutes my computer freeze's.

My Specs:
Mainboard : Gigabyte-GA-MA770T-UD3P
CPU : AMD Phenom ii x4 955 Black Edition Oc'ed to 4x3,82Ghz
Graphics : ATI Radeon HD 5770 Diamond DX11 1GB
Ram : Mushkin 2GB (2x1GB) DDR3 1333Mhz Dual Channel Kit CL-9
Windows : Windows 7 Professional 32Bit
Wheel : Logitech Driving Force Pro FFB 900°

And again : Everytime when i start LFS and play it a few minutes, my computer freeze.
And i think thats not my Computer. Because all Games runnin excellent just not LFS.
I already :google: it but nothin found.

Could someone Help me ?

Also putting 32-bit system on that CPU was quite dumb thing.

I have no idea but did you do a fresh install of LFS? If you copied it over from your old rig, maybe LFS it not properly configured for the new hardware

You can easy test this. Try to overclock your cpu, until your other games also freezes. Then you have the answer.

LFS is quite CPU intensive in comparison to other games (so i hear) so it could just be a case of the CPU topping out and overheating with only LFS because it isn't getting loaded enough to overheat with your other games.

I tested everything ! Testet Ram with Memtest = Everything Good No Errors.
Prime95 Excellent no Errors.
GPU/CPU no errors.
Whats left ? Mainboard !!! I was using Standard Bios (F4) but ive got the Phenom II x4 955 BE C3 Steppin and it needs Bios Update to F5.
So i updated and now it runs fine.

CPU already Overclocked ! Standard 4x3,2. But i oced to 4x3.6 then 4x3.7 and then 4x4ghz :P Running fine ! No its not overheating ! Idle : 40°C and when i play is it max. at 55°C. I have the AC Freezer 64 Pro.

So again : Everything is now runnin excellent.

Reinstalled after i installed my new Windows 7. But problem is already Solved

1. Add CPU Core Control option
   
2. Fix USB keyboard compatibility
   
3. Support EuP Lot 6 function (for rev 1.1 only)
   
4. LfS stability fix
   

could stop the freezes , but when you say anything is running excellent now...gl

He. ich habs nun geklärt musste Bios Update machen! Auf der Gigabyte CPU Support Liste steht das mein Phenom II x4 955 Black Edi die Bios F5 braucht aber ich hatte Standard Bios F4 drauf. Nun ich habs geupdated auf F5 und läuft perfekt. Hab auch erstma ne Runde Übertaktet auf 4x4.018Ghz
